Alaska

Holy moley!  I’m getting married in almost two weeks.  I can’t believe it’s almost here.  For our honeymoon we’re heading up to Alaska.  I’m super excited.  Neither of us have ever been there so I’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best things to do there. 

We’re planning on visiting Exit Glacier,

And then hiking up to the Harding Icefield

And of course spend some time in Denali National Park.

I’ve never heard anyone say that they visited Alaska and didn’t love it.  Have any of you ever been?  Any must see things to add to our list?  Have a great one.

    I’ve never been to Alaska, but, like you, I have several friends who have and they’ve loved it!! I did have one friend who lived there (out in the boonies), so I’ll ask her about some places and get back to you on that! Congrats, by the way!!

    I used to live in Southeast Alaska. It’s the best and I hope that ya’ll make it down there. Haines, Skagway, Juneau, etc.

    I heard back from my friend, below is what she wrote:

    "Oh, Denali National Park and Exit Glacier are fantastic places to visit in Alaska. Towns like Homer and Seward are beautiful too. Also, in Anchorage they had this cool Alaskan Berry/Chocolate store to visit, though that was more touristy! What a sweet honeymoon!"
