today, the “june” EP released! hoorah! each release day of yearbook feels especially nice, almost like coming up for a breath of air between each EP! i so love writing these songs, but as with all things, it feels so nice to take a break! makes me appreciate the process so much more. not to mention, completing something you’ve invested so deeply in just feels wonderful too! may was an especially busy month with a couple trips out of town AND writing not 3, but 4 songs… definitely savoring the mini breather right now.
i so hope you guys enjoy this new member of the yearbook EP family! sorry for the little bit of delays today – those nasty storms recently did some damage to the power source that yearbook gets mastering done at, so they had trouble getting things up and running until late yesterday. all’s good now and this EP is out and about, traveling the world through the internet.
speak real soon, guys! oh and by the way, so sorry i haven’t been keeping up with the “how it was made” blog series, which dives into the details of making each song. i WILL continue for each and every yearbook song as soon as i can!
much love, ryan
